The production area, which handles heavy machinery, high foot traffic, and exposure to oils and other automotive fluids, required a flooring system that could provide exceptional wear resistance, ease of maintenance, and safety.
Resinova’s PolyFlex PU Guard was selected due to its UV resistance, chemical resistance, and impact resistance. The aliphatic-based polyurethane flooring system is perfect for environments with intense operational demands, ensuring that the flooring stays functional and durable over time while providing a safe and non-slip surface.
The project was completed in 8 weeks, with the flooring system installed across the entire production area. BMW Group commended the flooring for its superior performance, seamless finish, and ease of maintenance, which has led to significant improvements in safety, productivity, and overall efficiency in the facility. The flooring upgrade aligns with BMW’s commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability in automotive manufacturing.
